FAQs

  • For appointments, I require a $60 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit! This deposit secures your appointment, pays for my drawing time, and goes towards the final cost of the tattoo!

This deposit is only refundable if the cancellation is on my end!

To reschedule, you must give me a 48-hour notice, or else another deposit is required!

    You forfeit your deposit when…

    • You reschedule with less than a 48-hour notice…

    • More than 15 minutes late without a notice, your appointment will be canceled.

    • Reschedule more than 2 times!

I DO NOT SEND OUT REMINDERS! IT’S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REMEMBER YOUR APPOINTMENT!

    !!!NO DEPOSIT = NO APPOINTMENT!!!

  • Of course!! Although I really do prefer it if clients came alone to their appointment. But if you really need to bring someone, you can only bring ONE guest. Please be respectful and mindful of other people in the studio. If your guest starts to be rowdy or disrespectful at any time during your appointment, they will have to wait outside.

please don’t bring your entire family <3

  • Apologies if I haven’t gotten back to you! I try my best to reply back to everyone, but if I miss you, I'm sorry! I’m the only person that manages my books, social media, artwork, and literally everything else in my business! I also prioritize certain requests over others! (small/medium sized pieces with full-color)

If you haven't heard from me within 2-3 weeks, gmail might of marked your email or my response as spam. I may be out of town/on vacation, or needing a break from inquiries.

Feel free to double text but please don't spam me!

  • I accept card and cash!

    (Cash is queen)

  • All tattoos are priced differently! Prices are based mainly on design, size, and placement!

I usually charge a flat rate for small/medium sized tattoos.

Manga panels are usually in between the $200-$400 price range.

My minimum is $150 and for rare large scale pieces, my hourly rate is $150.

  • NO! Kids are not allowed in the studio!

  • No…

Sorry! Unless it’s a flash design, you won’t see it till the day of your appointment! Any changes you would want, I can do it the same day before we start tattooing!

If you’re wondering why I do this, it’s because some people will ask for a preview, screenshot the design, and then go to another artist that “can do it cheaper.” Which is not okay!! Especially if it’s an original design :(

To prevent that from happening, I will show you the design in person! :-)

Any last-minute changes can be done on the spot unless the whole design has to be redone… then we’d have to reschedule! :)

It’s also because l work on designs literally the night before at like 1 am…

  • I won’t tattoo you if you’re pregnant/nursing! This is a difficult topic in the community and is hard to find an exact answer. But anytime you open your skin (due to a wound like a tattoo) you have an increased risk of infection. And the infection it can be passed on to your baby and/or milk. This is something to be taken seriously especially if you ever contract HIV, hepatitis, or AIDS from a tattoo. As long you go to a reputable artist/shop, the chances of contracting these infections are extremely low! :-)

Therefore waiting it out is the safest option!

  • Yes!

Although, some spots are more painful than others!! For your first tattoo, a good placement to start off with is your forearm! It also depends on your pain tolerance level. Everyone is different so some places hurt more compared to other people.

Some of the most painful spots (in my opinion) are the…

Ribs, spine, neck, hands, fingers, feet, armpit, and joints (knees/elbows)

  • Arcadia Atelier is an appointment-only studio!

The only time we do walk-ins are for last-minute cancellations and flash events. These would be posted on my Instagram! @roselutattoo

  • Nope! I accept customs as well! I don’t accept every request because I specialize in anime tattoos! So if you ask for a B&G realistic portrait of a celebrity… Don’t be shocked when I reject it!

  • Nope! It’s your responsibility to remember your appointment! I rarely ever send out confirmation texts/emails.

  • Please allow 3-7 days for me to process your order! I’m the only one that handles everything for my business so it might take me a bit. :-)

  • I really prefer it if my clients don’t use numbing cream. The cons with numbing cream are a bit tough especially since it varies person to person and by the type of numbing cream you use.

So many things can happen when you use numbing cream.

    - people can have bad allergic reactions causing rashes/hives

    - It can change the texture of your skin and make it harder to tattoo

    - the stencil rubs off a lot faster

    - possible chance that the tattoo wont heal as well compared to not using the numbing cream

    - numbing cream wears off pretty fast and if it wears off during the session, the pain shocks your body all at once since you haven't dealt with the pain from the start.

    - possible chance that it doesn't work

But if you desperately need it, go for it. Just make sure to prepare it before your appointment since it has to sit for a while.
